Coborn’s, Inc. Residency

Coborn’s, Inc. Pharmacy is a part of a supermarket chain serving communities throughout the Midwest. Currently, there are 38 pharmacies in Minnesota, 1 in South Dakota, and 1 in Wisconsin under the banners of Coborn’s, Cash Wise, and Marketplace Foods.

There is one community-pharmacy resident position available with Coborn’s in Minnesota, which is affiliated with the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy PGY-1 Residency Program.

The Coborn’s Support Center (CSC), located in St. Cloud, is the corporate office and serves as the primary location for the resident. At the CSC, the resident will engage in leadership meetings, perform MTM services, develop clinical programs, and work on various projects. Time will also be split with a Cash Wise pharmacy in St. Cloud where the resident will learn community pharmacy management skills.

The University of Minnesota PGY-1 Residency program is a multi-site program focused on pharmaceutical care in the ambulatory care setting. Affiliation with this program provides the resident with the opportunity to engage in case presentations, grand rounds, and academic days with other residents. Multiple learning experiences around ambulatory care are offered by the program to our resident throughout the year. Teaching and research opportunities are also supported by the partnership with the university.
